Brendan Young

Brendan Young, DSW, LSW, currently serves as the Graduate Program Director and Assistant Professor of Social Work at La Salle University since August 2022. Previously, Brendan held the role of Care Coordinator at Health Partners Plans from April 2015 to August 2022, and worked as a Social Worker at Crossroads Hospice from October 2013 to April 2015. Brendan's early career includes a Graduate Fellowship in Senator Barbara Mikulski's Office, where responsibilities involved providing constituent services and analyzing legislation, as well as an internship with the American Red Cross House focused on disaster recovery programs. Brendan began professional training in social work through an internship at Kratovil for Congress. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Social Work from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, a Master's in Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore, and a Bachelor's in Social Work from La Salle University.
