Kyla Cassidy

Kyla Cassidy is a Clinical Research Assistant at PolicyLab within the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, focusing on data analysis for an NIH-funded survey related to emergency room procedures concerning suicidal ideation. Concurrently, Kyla serves as a Psychological Services Clinic Assistant at La Salle University, managing patient appointments and facilitating communication between clients and clinicians. Previous experience includes crisis intervention counseling at Crisis Text Line, where Kyla engaged with individuals in crisis, and as a REC-PAC Program Director for Fairfax County Park Authority, overseeing compliance with social services standards. Kyla has also worked as a Behavioral Intern at Residential Treatment Services of Alamance, a Human Service Studies Student Worker at Elon University, and a childcare provider, highlighting extensive experience in mental health and child development. Kyla holds BA degrees in Psychology and Human Service Studies from Elon University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Psychology at La Salle University.
