Myrna Pietri

Myrna Pietri, MA, currently serves as a Management Analyst for LA Sanitation & Environment, where responsibilities include managing teams for financing agreements related to the five-year Capital Improvement Program and conducting grant proposal research to enhance the grant portfolio. Prior to this role, Myrna worked at the Los Angeles Convention Center for 14 years, advancing from Event Manager to Senior Event Manager and finally to Director of Convention Center Sales, overseeing major events like the Grammys and the NAACP National Convention. Myrna began professional experience with the City of Los Angeles as a Management Assistant in the Community Development Department, providing budgetary analysis and delivering presentations. Myrna holds a Master of Arts in Communication Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from California State University, Los Angeles, and an Associate of Arts in Banking and Finance from Los Angeles City College. Additional educational pursuits include a certificate in COVID-19 Contact Tracing and a specialization in Foundations of Global Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
