Preschool and K-8 IB and Reggio Emilia inspired Italian Immersion International School, with campuses in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. At La Scuola we are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach; and we use the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB-PYP) and Middle Years Program (IB-MYP) as the basis for the curriculum the students are taught. We have a lively, warm and very diverse community of parents, with 34 languages spoken at the school and different family structures. Our parent body is from all over the world and includes a mix of lovers of International Baccalaureate education, the Reggio Emilia approach to learning, multi-lingual speakers, Italian-Americans, and lovers of Italian language and culture. Children and parents do not need to know Italian to be at La Scuola. Spanish language taught as of Grade 4 and up.
