Erica Nelson serves as the Chief of Staff for Operations for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, a role they began in 2024 after three decades of military service. Throughout their career, they held various leadership positions, including Division Chief at NORAD & US Northern Command and Commander of the 15th Military Police Brigade. Erica has also contributed as a Military Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and taught piano at 232 Music Studios. They hold a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School and two additional master's degrees in Business Administration and Management. Erica is passionate about empowering others and upholding dignity and respect in all interactions.
