James Pearce has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. James most recently held the position of Vice President, Delivery Partners at LA28 since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as Executive Vice President, Business Operations & Head of Live Events at Combate Americas, LLC from June 2019 to May 2020.
Before their role at Combate Americas, James worked at Major League Baseball for a significant period. James held various leadership positions, including Vice President, International Events | World Baseball Classic, and Vice President, International Events | MLB Games. In these roles, they were responsible for planning, managing, and delivering international events, leading cross-functional teams, and driving revenue growth and fan engagement. James also served as Tournament Director for the World Baseball Classic and Director of International Events at MLB.
Prior to their time at Major League Baseball, James worked at the British Olympic Association as the Baseball Representative on the Athletes Commission from 1992 to 1997.
