Diego Arroyo Ruiz began their career in 2012 as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Nomura, where they were part of the Latin America coverage and Telecom, Media and Technology teams. After a two-week rotation at the Risk Solutions Group, they received a full-time offer. In 2013, they worked as a M&A Summer Analyst at BBVA, where they were part of the Iberian and Latin America coverage team, and received a full-time offer. Later that year, they worked as a Business Development Analyst at Lendico, an international peer-to-peer lending marketplace. In 2014, they worked as an Analyst at VARIV Capital, an investment firm focused on actively creating, developing and scaling successful and innovative business models. That same year, they joined Glovo App as a Corporate and City Manager Madrid, where they successfully launched Glovo in Madrid. In 2021, they became an Investor & Advisor at Shirtum, the leading platform for Collect To Experience (C2E) official digital memorabilia from sport idols. Diego also became an Advisor and Investor at APRIORI RESTAURACION, a supper club in Barcelona. In 2017, they co-founded laagam, the first fashion brand in the world with zero stock.

Diego Arroyo Ruiz completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Esade in 2014, a Latin American Studies program from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in 2013, and a BSc Politics & International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2014. Diego also holds certifications from Deloitte, Google, Platzi INC, Breaking Into Wall Street, and Codecademy.
