Steven Merrill

Steven Merrill is an experienced mechanical designer with a robust background in product design and automation machinery. Currently engaged with Laars Heating Systems since June 2013, Steven specializes in the design of mechanical heating system components using Solidworks and has extensive experience in sheet metal design. Prior roles include machine designer at Innovative Products and Equipment, mechanical design engineer at ARC Energy, and designer at various manufacturing companies, including Lawrence Pumps INC and Osram Sylvania Inc, where innovative design and cost-efficient engineering were emphasized. Steven also contributed to the food processing industry at Heat and Control INC and the automotive industry through tooling design. Education includes an Associate Degree in Mechanical Design Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Currently retired and enjoying personal time.
