Peter Gianakis

Peter Gianakis has over 20 years of experience in commercial operations, sales, and marketing. Peter began their career in 2001 as the Area Director of Commercial Operations for the Diagnostics Division at Abbott. In 2005, they became the Vice President, General Manager of the Point-of-Care Division at Alere Inc. (formerly Inverness Medical Innovations). From 2006 to 2009, they were the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Polymedco. Peter then worked as a Business Consultant at Excelsior PCG Consulting from 2009 to 2012. From 2012 to 2020, they were the Senior Vice President and General Manager at Stericycle, with responsibility for leading Stericycle’s Environmental Solutions business. Since 2020, they have been the Chief Commercial Officer at Valicor, reporting to the CEO and with responsibility for leadership and strategic direction of commercial operations. In 2022, they will become the Chief Commercial Officer & Senior Executive at Lab Logistics.

Peter Gianakis received a Bachelor's of Science in Business from the University of New Haven.
