Kelsey Powell

Kelsey Powell is a dedicated performing arts educator with extensive experience in teaching and curriculum development across various educational institutions. Currently serving as a Performing Arts Teaching Artist at Lab School Of Washington since August 2023, Kelsey previously held significant roles, including Lead Teaching Artist and Teaching Artist at Round House Theatre and High School Arts Department Chair at Katherine Thomas School. Kelsey has expertise in adapting lessons for diverse learners and virtual environments, organizing events, and monitoring student progress regarding IEP goals. Previous contributions also include teaching at Imagination Stage, Young Playwrights' Theater, and leading summer performing arts camps. Kelsey holds a Master of Arts in Theatre Education from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Theater from St. Olaf College.
