Nicole Scherm is a software engineer at Lab Zero Innovations. Nicole has also been self-employed and worked as a software developer at Samsung Accelerator from April 2016 to October 2016. Nicole was responsible for the development and maintenance of StickiBoard HTML5 Tizen app using JavaScript, Node.js, and ReactJS; and mobile applications through Android Studio and Java. Nicole also wrote Python scripts and managed changes with Git. Nicole worked on app updates and expanding for global market as well as general bug fixes and improvements. Apps were distributed globally through Samsung Digital Appliance Family Hub Platform. From June 2013 to December 2014, Nicole was a reactor operator at Reed Research Reactor where they were responsible for personnel and radiation safety, conducting operations consistent with federal regulations, running experiments, leading tours, and providing training for license candidates. Nicole also collaborated in revising many standard operating and emergency procedures, archiving and streamlining document flow, redesigning hazardous waste storage, troubleshooting equipment failures, redesigning and calibrating equipment, and analyzing radioactive samples.

Nicole Scherm has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology - Math and Natural Sciences applied field from Reed College. Nicole also has a California High School Diploma from Menlo-Atherton High School.
