Damiano Melcarne

Damiano Melcarne has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in various roles and companies. Damiano is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Lab49. Prior to this, they were a Software Engineer at the same company.

Before joining Lab49, Damiano worked at Lifion, by ADP, as an Application Developer. There, they were involved in developing user-facing applications and collaborated with the UX team to improve the company's UI component library.

Prior to Lifion, Damiano worked at Incentive Technology Group, LLC, as a Software Engineer. Damiano was part of the greenfield product team and played a key role in developing a real-time energy cost monitoring platform. Damiano was involved in mobile UX design, usability research, and MEAN stack development. Damiano also developed an eventing engine for real-time alerts about energy consumption.

Damiano's work experience also includes being a Co-Founder of Waiders, an e-commerce apparel company. Damiano was responsible for product strategy and design, as well as the development and maintenance of the company's e-commerce store.

Additionally, Damiano worked as a Web Developer at Paradyme Management Inc. There, they collaborated with the US courts to enhance the usability and design of their HRMIS website, resulting in a significant reduction in site size.
