Yaroslav Pavolotskiy

Yaroslav Pavolotskiy's work experience includes serving as the Head of Engineering Transformation at Lab49 since February 2022, where they have been responsible for delivery and engagement management for Tier-1 Capital Markets organizations. Yaroslav also manages engineering capabilities across the US, EMEA, and APAC.

Prior to that, Yaroslav worked at Excelian | Luxoft Financial Services from January 2021 to February 2022, holding the position of Global Head of Temenos Delivery. In this role, they successfully transformed the Temenos practice into a cohesive business unit, designed the target operating model, and implemented a recovery plan for collapsing accounts. Yaroslav also achieved significant practice growth and assumed accountability for delivery across multiple regions.

From March 2016 to January 2021, Yaroslav served as the Senior Director and Delivery Head for xVA Risk Analytics IT for UBS. In this role, they introduced an efficient management structure and delivery process, drove innovation for improved quality and rapid business value delivery, and established a comprehensive governance framework. Yaroslav also successfully managed managed service contracts and had full P&L responsibility.

Yaroslav's earlier work experience includes roles at Luxoft as a Senior Delivery Manager for UBS from January 2012 to April 2015, and as a Team Lead for UBS from June 2010 to January 2012. Yaroslav also worked at Celenia Software as a Lead Software Development Engineer from January 2008 to June 2010, and as a Senior Software Development Engineer from March 2007 to January 2008. Furthermore, they worked at Ciklum as a Senior Software Development Engineer from September 2006 to March 2007, and at Celenia as a Software Development Engineer from September 2005 to September 2006.

Yaroslav Pavolotskiy obtained their Master's degree in Computer Science from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' from 1999 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they earned the CFA Investment Foundations certification from the CFA Institute in January 2017 and became a Certified Scrum Master through the ScrumAlliance in September 2011.
