Kiptyn Locke has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kiptyn began their career in 2003 as Vice President of Scalex Corporation, where they worked until 2008. From 2005 to 2016, they served as the Event Co-Director and Sponsor Coordinator for the Switchfoot Bro-Am, an annual event that raises funds for non-profit organizations in San Diego. In 2007, Kiptyn joined Cancer Angels of San Diego as a Board Member, providing financial assistance to cancer patients in need. Kiptyn then moved on to Invoice Connection in 2008, working as the Vice President of Distributor Products until 2011. Kiptyn became President of Real Price Solutions in 2011 and played a crucial role in improving business efficiency and profitability for electrical distributors. Lastly, they joined LabArchives, LLC in 2012 as Global Accounts, eventually becoming the Vice President in 2018. In this role, Kiptyn oversees sales management, strategic business plans, and works to enhance the lives of scientists worldwide through digital research notebooks.

Kiptyn Locke attended UC Santa Barbara from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. In April 2023, they obtained the Managing for Impact Certification from Winning by Design.
