Gordon Nefdt

Gordon Nefdt is an experienced laboratory manager with a demonstrated history of managing civil engineering materials testing. Currently serving as the Laboratory Manager at Labco Civil Engineering Materials Testing Services (Pty) Ltd since October 2015, Gordon oversees the SANRAL Regional Laboratory for the Eastern Cape. Previously, Gordon worked at GIBB Engineering and Architecture as a Civil Laboratory Supervisor from August 2008 to September 2015, where supervision of testing for the Eskom Ingula Pumped Storage Project was key. Prior to that role, Gordon was a Geotechnical Technician at Melis & Du Plessis from June 2002 to July 2008, focusing on supervision and quality assurance for geotechnical projects. Gordon's career began in laboratory management at Gibb Africa from March 1993 to August 1998, where commercialization of civil engineering testing was highlighted. Gordon holds qualifications from the Institute of Concrete Technology (UK) and City & Guilds of London.
