Melissa Taylor

Melissa Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Melissa started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where they assisted with online computing classes. From there, they transitioned to roles in the scientific field, working at Dow AgroSciences as a Research Laboratory Technician and Scientific Analyst. During their time at Dow AgroSciences, they gained experience in maintaining and testing termites, bed bugs, and cockroaches, as well as completing plasmid amplification and utilizing gel electrophoresis.

Melissa then moved on to Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they held several sales representative positions. Melissa'sresponsibilities included sourcing and quoting lab products for various customers, managing opportunities and events through Salesforce, and developing and maintaining relationships with customers and vendors.

Most recently, Melissa worked at Spectrum Chemical Mfg. Corp. as a Sales Account Executive. In this role, they utilized their sales expertise to manage accounts and achieve sales targets.

Currently, Melissa holds the position of Sales Representative at Labconco Corporation, where they continue to excel in the field of sales.

Melissa Taylor completed their Associate of Science (AS) degree in Biotechnology from Ivy Tech Community College-Central Indiana in the years 2010 to 2012. Melissa then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biotechnology from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, which they completed between 2013 and 2015.
