Adam C. Smith

Adam C. Smith, PhD, FCCMG, is an internationally recognized clinical laboratory scientist specializing in cancer genomics, cytogenetics, and optical genome mapping. They currently serve as the Clinical Laboratory Director at Labcorp and an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto's Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology. Previously, Adam held various prestigious positions, including Director of Cancer Cytogenetics at the University Health Network and Clinical Cytogeneticist at the BC Cancer Agency. Adam earned a PhD in Genetics from the University of Toronto and has contributed significantly to the field through roles in research and clinical practice.
