Matthew Comeaux

Matthew Comeaux, PhD, FACMG, currently serves as Associate Lab Director at Myriad Genetics since August 2014, having previously held the position of Assistant Lab Director. Prior to this role, Matthew completed a Clinical Molecular Genetics Fellowship and a Clinical Biochemical Genetics Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, where skills included molecular genetic testing and biochemical analysis to diagnose genetic disorders. Earlier experience includes a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Tulane Cancer Center focusing on genetic instability and an Adjunct Faculty role at Tulane University, where a graduate-level Human Molecular Genetics course was designed and taught. Educational credentials include a PhD in Molecular Genetics from Tulane University School of Medicine and a BA/BS from Northwestern State University, highlighting a strong foundation in both liberal arts and chemistry.
