James Martin

James Martin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in application security and cyber security management. Currently serving as the Manager of Application Security/Data Loss Prevention at LabCorp since September 2019, James is responsible for overseeing the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC), including secure coding practices and the training of development teams. Previous roles include Assistant Vice President of IT Project Portfolio Management at Credit Suisse, where James managed a portfolio of security-enhancing projects, and various positions at firms such as Deloitte, L3 NSS, and Leidos, focusing on technology deployment, cybersecurity application vulnerability, and operations. James also held leadership roles at Red Phoenix Consulting, LLC, and CALIBRE Systems, along with consulting for the Department of Defense. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Master’s in Information Resources Management from Central Michigan University.
