Ana Barbeito

Ana Barbeito currently serves as the Medical Director Corporate at Laboratoires Expanscience, focusing on rheumatology and dermo-cosmetics since September 2023. Previously, Ana held the position of Head of Global Medical for Woman Health at BIOCODEX, where responsibilities included defining Medical Affairs strategy, building an international KOL network in gynecology, and participating in clinical development. Earlier roles included Director of Scientific Affairs at Laboratoires IPRAD and Research & Development Manager at BIOBank S.A., where Ana managed innovative development projects in bone substitutes and led research activities. Academic credentials comprise a PhD in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from Pierre and Marie Curie University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad de la República, alongside various additional certifications in clinical research and biological engineering.
