Gabriel Domingos is a researcher in engineering and technology at Laboratório de Computação Científica e Visualização - LCCV since July 2017, focusing on the development of structural optimization modules for offshore anchoring systems. Gabriel has also held positions as a master's scholarship student, applying topological optimization to offshore anchoring design, and as an undergraduate scholarship student, working on elastoplastic models within mobile cellular automata for geological structure simulations. Prior experience includes an internship in structural engineering at E. M. Uchôa Engenharia Estrutural and a marketing assistant role at EJEC - Empresa Júnior de Engenharia Civil e Arquitetura. Additionally, a summer internship at the UC Davis Center for Watershed Sciences involved studying global water resource scenarios. Gabriel holds a master's degree in structures and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Universidade Federal de Alagoas, along with a sandwich degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Davis.
