Nicole K.

Nicole K. has a long and varied work experience. Nicole began their career in 2011 as a Teacher of Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder for the Grosse Pointe Public School System. During this time, they taught professional developments to district staff on using Google Docs for data tracking, fundraised, planned, and supervised a 3-day camping trip for students with special needs, and helped start-up and run a school-wide Peer-to-Peer Program. In 2013, they became an ECSE Teacher for Chippewa Valley Schools, where they served as the District Assistive Technology (AT) Consultant and provided trainings to staff on implementation of the AT equipment. In 2015, they became an Assistant Swim Coach for both De La Salle Collegiate High School and Regina High School, where they were responsible for listening effectively to the needs of the coaches and athletes to translate them into a positive action that creates a cohesive team environment, effectively communicating a vision and building a group of individuals to work together as a team to accomplish a goal together, being punctual and coming prepared to coach with the needed materials and plan, and being flexible and patient to adjust to the daily changing demands of managing a team. In 2010, they held an internship with the PGA TOUR as the 2010 PGA Championship Hospitality Internship, where they were the assistant to Michael Worzalla who was the 92nd PGA Championship Coordinator for Hospitality Services. Nicole managed the Champions Club venue and held volunteer's, security, kitchen, and bar staff accountable for their role in the Champions Club. Finally, in 2017, they joined LaborEdge, where they have held the roles of Senior VP, Strategic Initiatives, Director, ATS Product, Manager, Trainer & Accounts, and Analyst, Client Services.

Nicole K. completed their Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Wayne State University in 2011. Nicole then went on to earn their Master of Education (MEd) in Special Education and Teaching from Wayne State University in 2014.
