Wilfred Geerlings

Wilfred Geerlings has a wide range of work experience in various software engineering and IT management roles. Wilfred started their career in 1989 at Bocom Systems B.V., where they worked as a Software Engineer and Firmware developer, specializing in developing software and embedded firmware for urology devices. Wilfred also managed a Telecom project and automated processes within the company. In 1992, they joined Medical Measurement Systems (MMS) as an IT Manager and later became a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they focused on developing Windows applications, firmware for medical devices, and integrating production systems. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the IT Manager Europe at Laborie, where they focused on integrating acquired companies and executing global IT projects. Most recently, starting in 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Apollo Tyres Ltd, maintaining and developing various interfaces and desktop apps for the factory and platforms. In 2022, they joined Laborie again, this time as a Principal Software Engineer.

Wilfred Geerlings obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Techniek from Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 1985 to 1989. Wilfred also obtained additional certifications including "Python Essential Training," "Windows Server 2016: Active Directory Federation Services," "Windows Server 2016: File Services," "Scrum: Advanced," and "Scrum: The Basics" from LinkedIn in 2018 and 2019.
