Gerrit Tichelaar

Gerrit Tichelaar has extensive work experience in various roles related to information management and ICT. Gerrit is currently working at Laborijn as an Informatiemanager en CISO, where they advise the management on ICT and information security, develops and implements ICT policies, and manages the organization's information structure. Prior to that, they worked at the Gemeente Neder-Betuwe as an Informatiemanager and ICT Coordinator, where they focused on managing information flows, optimizing the use of applications, and analyzing and solving complex technical issues. Gerrit also worked at CRV as a Project Manager and Senior Systemmanager, where they were responsible for project delivery, system management, and technical project leadership. Additionally, they gained experience at Inter VCD BV as an Informatiespecialist and quality controller, where they were involved in various tasks such as user training, writing procedures, quality management, and managing wholesale software. Finally, they started their career as an IT Consultant at CMG, where they worked on Oracle consultancy, Y2K impact analysis, and coordination of laboratory analysis system implementation.

Gerrit Tichelaar's education history begins in 1978 where they attended Thorbecke Scholengemeenschap, where they completed their VWO. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Bedrijfskundige Informatica at HEAO Arnhem from 1991 to 1995. In 1999, they furthered their education with a Master's degree in ICT Management from Cibit Utrecht, which they completed in 2002. Returning to Cibit, Gerrit received CISSP training in 2017. In the same year, they also obtained a Functionaris voor de Gegevensbescherming diploma focusing on Privacy from Segment. Prior to these certifications, Gerrit had already acquired a CISO diploma in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Segment in 2016. It is also worth noting that Gerrit has completed additional CISSP training at an unspecified time, also at Cibit.
