Sorelle Matene Takoumbo has held various roles in the field of Scrum Master and Project Management since 2015. In 2020, they began working as a Scrum Master for LabQ - Most Innovative Clinical Lab, where they work directly with teams to continuously foster agile transformation, facilitates all scrum ceremonies, works with the product owner to prioritize the backlog, and collaborates with other Scrum masters and the Release train engineer. From 2017-2020, they were a Scrum Master for Empire City Laboratories, where they facilitated the transition of teams from Waterfall to Agile, managed marketing e-commerce and analysis of financial performance, and served as Scrum master for 3 agile teams on different mobile development applications. From 2015-2017, they were a Scrum Master for Bank of America, where they identified and removed impediments, played a pivotal role as a servant leader to the Scrum team, and coordinated all Scrum ceremonies. In 2015, they also worked as a Project Manager for Nike, where they demonstrated analytical thinking skills, compiled and produced reports, and developed graphic representation of complex business processes.

Sorelle Matene Takoumbo's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the City University of New York-College of Staten Island, which they obtained in 2021. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science in biology pre-med from Essex County College in 2019.
