Trevor Paesl

Trevor Paesl has a wealth of experience in software engineering and product management. Trevor began their career in 2005 as an E-Commerce Technical Support at Melaleuca, Inc. In this role, they identified problems and performed troubleshooting over the phone with customers. Trevor then moved into a Quality Assurance Software Tester role, where they were responsible for various forms of software testing for both web and desktop applications.

In 2014, they co-founded Capes in Action and served as Co-Founder and Full Stack Web Developer/Software Engineer. In this role, they co-developed the product and business concept from inception, evaluated the business opportunity and worked on all fronts to bring it to fruition. Trevor was also responsible for evaluating and making all technology decisions, and was the sole designer, architect, and end-to-end developer of the custom e-commerce sales website.

In 2015, they joined LabStats as the Director of Software Engineering & Product. As head of both Software Engineering and Product departments, they oversaw all technology decisions, operations, and staff, as well as the strategic efforts to move the industry-leading SAS product forward.

In 2017, they founded Second Floor Ventures as the Founder and Managing Partner.

Trevor Paesl graduated from Idaho State University in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. Trevor began their studies in 2005.
