Verena Mertes

Verena Mertes has extensive experience in project management within the biotechnology sector, currently serving as Director of Project Management at Labvantage - Biomax GmbH since March 2013, following a progression through multiple managerial roles including Assistant Director and Senior Project Manager. Prior to this, Verena worked as a Postdoc in Technical Biochemistry at Technische Universität Dortmund from September 2010 to November 2012. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Technical Biochemistry obtained from Universität des Saarlandes (2005-2010) and a Diplom in Human and Molecular Biology from the same institution (2000-2005).
