Shi Bu has extensive work experience in data analysis and marketing strategies. From 2004 to 2010, Shi worked as an Analytics Manager at GE, where they transitioned from a Marketing Analyst role to becoming a Team Leader. They directed analytical teams across Asia, North America, and Europe, supporting GE Capital and its B2B and B2C clients. Shi undertook various analytics initiatives, such as predictive analytics, segmentation, value proposition creation, and revenue forecasting.
In 2010, Shi joined The Lacek Group as an SVP, Data Intelligence. They led a team of 40+ data professionals to deliver integrated data solutions and pragmatic marketing strategies and execution. Shi also advised premier brands on leveraging data and technology for their marketing strategies, enhancing their data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Shi Bu completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence for Business at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Michigan. In 2001 to 2002, Shi Bu obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from The University of Toledo. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Coursera, including "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "Model Thinking," "Experimentation for Improvement," and "AI For Everyone" in 2020 and 2021.
