Gerard Dessoye

Gerard Dessoye is an accomplished professional in the field of law enforcement and criminal justice, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Police Academy Operations at Lackawanna College since November 2019. Previously, Gerard served as an Adjunct Instructor at Luzerne County Community College from September 2016 to November 2019, teaching various Criminal Justice courses. Gerard also held the position of Executive Director of Campus Safety and Security at King's College from September 2014 to July 2016 and was the Chief of Police for Wilkes-Barre City, PA, from January 2004 to September 2014. Gerard holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from King's College and an educational background from Luzerne County Community College and Pittston Area High School.
