Chris Calvey

Chris Calvey has extensive experience in both the arts and funeral service industries. As the Program Manager for the Lackawanna County Arts & Culture Department since March 2008, Chris provides administrative support and assists with various arts initiatives within Lackawanna County. In addition, Chris has served as the President of Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. since February 1980, holding the title of a Pennsylvania Licensed Funeral Director and actively participating on the Board of Governors for the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association. Chris is also a member of the National Funeral Directors and received the 2015 Pursuit of Excellence Award, a prestigious national recognition. Academically, Chris holds a degree in Mortuary Science from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Accounting and Business/Management from Keystone College. Education was completed at Abington Heights High School with a High School Diploma.
