Mark Powell

Mark Powell serves as the District Attorney for Lackawanna County since January 2018, overseeing the prosecution of criminal cases and managing crime prevention programs. Prior to this role, Mark Powell practiced law at Powell Law, a well-established personal injury law firm, from June 1990 to December 2017, handling a wide variety of personal injury claims. Mark Powell holds a Master of Laws in Trial Advocacy from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law and a Juris Doctorate from The Catholic University of America, along with a Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University.
