Becky Sherman has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Becky started their career as an Emergency Room RN at Asante from March 2007 to July 2012.

Becky then worked as a Project Coordinator at the Ashland Immunization Team, where they coordinated multiple community-wide interventions to increase child vaccination. Becky also researched best practices for vaccination-resistant communities and prepared evaluations of programs. Additionally, they facilitated stakeholder communication, wrote grant proposals, and developed toolkits for providers and parents. Becky was involved in the advisory committee for the new immunization religious exemption law in Oregon.

In 2011, Becky took on a project coordinator role with a private contract, where they assisted the director with monthly meetings, research, and managing committees. Becky collaborated on community guidelines for opioid prescribing and worked on a provider educational module video. Becky currently serves as a member of the steering committee and consultant for digital content and education for the Opioid Prescribers Group.

In 2012, Becky worked as a Healthcare Content Writer for a contracted public health consultant, where they wrote patient-centered content for public health and healthcare websites.

Finally, Becky joined La Clinica in December 2013 as a Learning and Development Specialist/Clinical RN. Becky later became the Director of Nursing.

Becky Sherman obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 1991-1993. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) in International Public Health/International Health from the University of Washington between 2010 and 2013.
