Susan Hearn

Susan Hearn leads The Learning Well, La Clinica’s education and support service that offers classes, workshops, and groups designed to help people enhance their well-being and live fulfilling lives.

Before joining La Clinica in October 2022, she served as executive director of hospice organizations in Portland and Southern Oregon which created Hopewell House and Celia’s House. During her career in nonprofits, Susan also coordinated health clinics, wellness education, marketing, and outreach efforts for Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, Ashland Community Hospital, and COHO: Choosing Options, Honoring Options. This work first connected her to La Clinica and developed her approach to compassionate caregiving that recognizes every person’s unique resources and needs.
