Richard Newcombe

Richard Newcombe is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the global footwear industry. Currently serving as Co-Chief Executive Officer at Lacoste since April 2018, Richard plays a pivotal role in the Lacoste X Pentland joint venture. Previously, Richard held the position of Executive Director at Hunter Boot Ltd from October 2020 to June 2023 and served as Non Executive Director there as well. With a long tenure at Pentland Brands from February 2010 to October 2020, Richard was the Global President of the Footwear Division and a prominent member of the Executive Leadership Team. Ratifying global brand strategies, Richard has overseen brands such as Lacoste, Kickers, and ellesse during a distinguished career that also includes leadership roles as Global Brand President and CEO of Pentland Asia.
