Pedro Ortega

Pedro Ortega is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in auditing and corporate financial management. Currently serving as Corporate Controller at LaCrosse Footwear Incorporated since June 2022, Pedro previously held the position of Audit Manager at Nike from November 2015 to May 2022, where responsibilities included optimizing risk and compliance through stakeholder engagement and leadership. Prior to Nike, Pedro managed audits at CMR & Co., PSC-CPA, leading regulatory audits that resulted in significant cost savings for public healthcare funds. Pedro's career also includes a role as Internal Audit Manager at Unilever, providing operational compliance insights across the Americas and Europe. Pedro holds an MBA in Finance from Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico-Bayamon.
