Vinay Mistry

Vinay Mistry is an accomplished R&D Packaging Engineer with extensive experience in the packaging industry. Currently serving as an R&D Packaging Engineer II at Lactalis American Group since June 2025, Mistry previously held the same position at General Mills from January 2024 to June 2025. Prior to that, Mistry worked as a Regional Structural Designer for the West Coast at Georgia-Pacific LLC between February 2022 and January 2024. Mistry's career began at International Paper, where a progression of roles from Design Associate to Structural Designer III occurred from February 2017 to January 2022. An early career internship as a Structural Design Intern at Packaging Corporation of America was completed from July 2015 to January 2016. Mistry holds a Bachelor of Science in Packaging from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, earned in January 2016.
