Kuben Govender

Kuben Govender is an experienced professional in sales and management, currently serving as the Business Unit Manager for Ice Cream at Lactalis South Africa since April 2023. Kuben is also a Co-Owner and Sales & Marketing Director at Fireshed, a family-run street food business in Durban launched in 2018. Prior to these roles, Kuben held various positions at Rich Products Corporation as Regional Sales Operations Manager, and at Socialead as Head of Sales Marketing, focusing on lead generation for businesses. An extensive tenure at Unilever, from 1997 to 2020, included roles such as Customer Development Lead and National Sales & Capability Manager, where Kuben drove market growth and operational efficiency. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Management from the University of South Africa and a Diploma in Architectural and Building Sciences from Durban University of Technology.
