Sourya Kakarla

Sourya Kakarla is a seasoned professional in the field of computer science and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Co-Founder and CEO of Ladduu AI since April 2025. With a background as a Founding Machine Learning Engineer at SkyLink, Sourya designed and built LLM-based conversational agents for corporate travel from June 2023 to May 2025. Additionally, Sourya has held multiple roles in academia, including Graduate Teaching Assistant at Columbia University for various courses and a Tech Lead at Columbia | SIPA, where an AI-driven dashboard was developed for the Office of the Mayor of New York City. Previous experience includes research positions at IIT Kharagpur and collaborations with organizations like Microsoft, where Sourya worked on Azure Service Fabric and an Android App project. Sourya holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University and a dual degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
