Kristin Re

Executive Director/Co-Founder at LADIES CLIMBING COALITION

Kristin Re, Ed.D, currently serves as an Education Specialist at the Rhode Island Department of Education and has extensive experience in various educational roles. In addition to coordinating events for the American Alpine Club, Kristin holds the position of Executive Director for the Ladies Climbing Coalition, a nonprofit focused on empowering women and nonbinary individuals in climbing. As a Professor at Johnson & Wales University, Kristin engages students with relevant content to enhance their writing, rhetoric, and analytical skills. Previous positions include ELA Teacher, Teacher-Leader, and Instructional Coach at PVD Prep, English Teacher at Nowell Leadership Academy, and Advisor at The Met School. Additionally, Kristin was a Personalized Learning Policy Fellow at Teach Plus and taught as an Adjunct Professor of English at the Community College of Rhode Island. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education from Northeastern University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Rhode Island College, and a Bachelor of Arts in English, also from Rhode Island College.
