Ariel Flores

Ariel Flores, P.E., ENV SP, currently serves as the Environmental Engineering Associate III at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, overseeing the Water Conservation Regulatory Group and focusing on water loss and conservation regulations. Prior experience includes roles as Environmental Engineering Associate I/II at the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation, where responsibilities involved TMDL implementation and the Safe, Clean Water Program, and as an Environmental Engineer at Smith-Emery GeoServices, handling various environmental assessments. Academic experience includes research on microbial co-selection as a Graduate Research Assistant at UCLA and teaching roles in environmental sustainability and civil engineering. Ariel holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, both from UCLA, along with a high school diploma from Loyola High School.
