Steve Hladek

Steve Hladek is an experienced professional in facilities management with a career spanning over two decades. Currently, Steve serves in Maintenance and Construction at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power since September 2021. Prior to this role, Steve worked as a Facility Maintenance and Repair Consultant from January 2018 to September 2021. Steve's experience includes serving as Director of Facilities Management at AerCap from May 2014 to December 2017, where responsibilities included project management and vendor oversight. Additionally, Steve held the position of Director of Global Facilities Management at International Lease Finance Corporation from January 2004 to January 2014, managing day-to-day maintenance and overseeing in-house personnel and external vendors. Steve’s educational background includes an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate from Northrop Aviation and studies at West L.A. College, alongside completion of high school at Culver City High School.
