Taro Zabalaga

Taro Zabalaga is a project analyst and project manager at Premium Discovery Group, S.P.C. since May 2024 and has been serving as an engineering contract manager at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power since August 2017. In this role, Taro Zabalaga supports the development and maintenance of Los Angeles's electric grid by creating and managing power system contracts, collaborating with engineering and construction teams, and ensuring the timely procurement of electrical equipment and services. Previous experience includes working as an electrical engineer, where Taro Zabalaga designed commercial lighting and control systems, conducted energy audits, and utilized eQuest modeling software for HVAC simulations. Taro Zabalaga holds an MBA with a focus on tech commercialization and business analytics from USC Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Cal State LA College of ECST.
