Joyce Kong

Joyce Kong is a seasoned professional in the field of epidemiology, currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Laerdal Medical since February 2019, after a tenure as Senior Scientist II. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Associate Professor at Seoul National University Hospital and an Epidemiologist at the Naval Health Research Center. Joyce also contributed as a Post-doctoral Fellow and Researcher at the International Agency for Research on Cancer, WHO, and served as an Adjunct Professor at Mercer University College of Health Professional and Sciences. Educational accomplishments include a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from Emory University, a Master of Public Health from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy from Duke University, complemented by attendance at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.
