Abdel-Ileh Chouar

Abdel-Ileh Chouar is the current Director of Sustainable Development & Innovation at LafargeHolcim Maroc. Prior to this, they served as the Industrial Director South, East Africa and Indian Ocean for LafargeHolcim from August 2018 to August 2020. In this role, they were responsible for heading all cement industrial operations for LafargeHolcim in South Africa, East Africa, and the Indian Ocean. Before that, they served as the Industrial Director Nigeria for LafargeHolcim from July 2015 to August 2018, where they were an Exco member of Lafarge Africa Plc and was in charge of operations, industrial performance and development, projects and Capex management, mining and development of reserves, industrial learning & development, and energy. Prior to that, they served as Directeur Exploitation Beton (Industrial Ready-mix Director) for LafargeHolcim from January 2015 to August 2015.

Abdel-Ileh Chouar studied at Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers before completing a senior leadership program at INSEAD. Abdel-Ileh then went on to complete a Senior Leadership Program (Launch) at IMD Business School in the field of Leadership and change Management.
