Mike LaFata is an experienced professional with over 20 years in the utility sector, currently serving as President of LaFata Contract Services since January 2001. In this role, Mike manages a portfolio of significant projects related to transmission, substations, and distribution, overseeing project managers, construction managers, project engineers, and field engineers. Previously, Mike held various positions at Raytheon Engineers & Constructors, where Mike managed multiple projects from authorization to completion, and worked as an Installation Engineer and Assistant Lead Field Engineer at General Physics and Volt Technical Services. Mike began a career in engineering as an I&C Test Engineer at Nuclear Energy Consultants, Inc. and Bechtel Power, focusing on instrumentation and control systems. Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University.
