Katy McKinney

Katy McKinney is an experienced educator and founder, currently serving as the Head of School at Lafayette Academy since September 2016, where the mission focuses on developing academic potential through a classical liberal arts program. Prior to this role, Katy founded Cato Academy - Classical Online Learning in April 2020, emphasizing rigorous online education in the classical tradition until November 2021. Additionally, Katy established McKinney Classical Academy, a homeschooling classical academy, from August 2008 to May 2016. Academic background includes studies at Chapman University and involvement with Classical Academy de Lafayette.
