Tom Whitney is an experienced operations and underwriting professional with a strong track record in the financial services industry. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Lafayette Federal Credit Union since April 2023, Whitney has previously held significant leadership roles at loanDepot, including Director of Underwriting and various vice president positions, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing large teams, managing underwriting processes, and driving improvements in efficiency and production quality. With a solid foundation in credit policy, risk assessment, and compliance, Whitney has successfully implemented strategies that enhance customer experiences while meeting corporate objectives. Whitney's career also includes experience at Bank of America and other firms in various capacities, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wartburg College.
