Peter Cairns has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, serving in various management roles. Currently, Peter is the General Manager at Lafayette Hotels since March 2017. Previously, Peter held the position of General Manager at Ramada Saco and Holiday Inn Express, along with a Sales Manager role at Holiday Inn. Peter also contributed as Treasurer for Saco Girls Little League and served on the Board of Directors for the Biddeford Saco Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Peter's career in hospitality began at Hyannis Harbor Hotel as General Manager. Peter graduated from Barnstable High School in 1986.

Lafayette Hotels is a family owned and operated group of 30+ hotels located in Maine and New Hampshire. In addition to regular travel, we specialize in handling group tours, conventions, and FIT business. In Maine we have waterfront properties in Ogunquit, Wells, Old Orchard Beach, Boothbay Harbor, Belfast, and Bar Harbor, Maine. In addition, we have properties located in some of Maine’s largest cities including: Portland, South Portland, Bangor, Augusta and Waterville. The three New Hampshire hotels include a resort at Lake Winnipesaukee in the heart of the Lakes Region. Another hotel is on the Vermont border just minutes to Dartmouth College. Our last hotel in New Hampshire is located in the historic village of Jackson, just minutes from four major ski areas, less than one mile from Story Land, and near North Conway.
