Patrick Bowen

Patrick Bowen is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as a Police Sergeant at the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office since October 2008, with a focus on patrol leadership, major crime investigations, and CALEA accreditation management. Patrick has held the role of CALEA Accreditation Manager, successfully overseeing the agency's advanced accreditation efforts. In addition to law enforcement duties, Patrick has academic experience as an Adjunct Professor at Nicholls State University and Fletcher Technical Community College, where coursework included criminal justice, police leadership, and corrections. An accomplished grant writer, Patrick previously secured over 15 grants for the City of Biloxi Police Department. Patrick holds a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Capella University, alongside a Master's and Bachelor's degree from The University of Southern Mississippi.
