Sean Ryan

Sean Ryan has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Sean began their career as a 4th Grade Teacher at Candia Moore Elementary School from 1992 to 1996. Sean then transitioned to the hospitality industry, working for Promus Hotels as a Director of Sales & Marketing from 1996 to 1998. Following that, they served as a Regional Director of Sales and Marketing - Franchise for Marriott Hotels from 1998 to 2004.

From 2004 to 2012, Sean worked as an On-line Reservation Director (Subcontractor) for the State of NH DTTD - Subcontractor. Sean then moved on to GF Hotels & Resorts, where they held the position of Director of Sales & Marketing from 2012 to 2013.

In 2013, Sean took on the role of Area Marketing Manager at Colwen Hotels, followed by the position of President & CEO at Monadnock Travel Council from 2013 to 2016. Sean then served as the Executive Director/President of The Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce from 2014 to 2019.

In their most recent work experience, Sean joined Lafrance Hospitality in 2019, starting as a Director of Sales until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they held the position of Area Director of Sales, responsible for the Southern NH/North Central MA region. Currently, Sean is working as the Regional Director of Sales for Lafrance Hospitality, starting in July 2022.

Sean Ryan attended Raymond Jr-Sr High School from 1978 to 1985. Sean then enrolled at UNH Manchester and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from 1986 to 1988. Continuing their education, they attended the University of New Hampshire from 1987 to 1991, majoring in Child Psychology and Education.
